Chongzuo
Chongzuo City is located on the China-Vietnam border, featuring rich karst landforms and border customs. Key attractions include Detian Transnational Waterfall (the largest transnational waterfall in Asia, with magnificent water flow during the rainy season; you can take a bamboo raft to experience the mist up close), Mingshi Pastoral Scenery (the 'Little Guilin', with pastoral landscapes + Zhuang ethnic villages, ideal for cycling and taking photos), Anping Fairy River, and Friendship Pass (the southern gate of the border). Local delicacies include Zhuang-style roasted suckling pig with crispy skin and tender meat, sour rice porridge to appetise and cut the grease, mugwort cakes with a fragrant herbal aroma, as well as Vietnamese spring rolls and quail egg snacks—border specialties.
