Baise City
Baise is a historic old revolutionary base area, situated at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Guangxi provinces, featuring breathtaking karst landscapes and canyon views. Key attractions include the Baise Uprising Memorial Park (a red tourism landmark), Tongling Grand Canyon (with cascading waterfalls interwoven with limestone caves and lush primitive vegetation), Leye Dashiwei Tiankeng Group (one of the world's largest sinkhole clusters, a geological wonder), and Goose Spring (a pastoral spring with crystal-clear waters, offering picturesque rural scenery). Local delicacies include Baise stir-fried rice worms (chewy and flavourful), sour mango pickles (sweet and sour, appetising), Leye cured pork (savoury and aromatic), as well as various Zhuang-style dishes such as five-colour glutinous rice and stir-fried banana flower with pork.
