Zhangzhou

Zhangzhou is a golden triangle in southern Fujian, a coastal ancient city, and a land of flowers and fruits. Key attractions include Nanjing Tulou (Yunshuiyao Ancient Town, Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, round and square tulou buildings, a World Heritage Site), Dongshan Island (Wind Rock, blue seas and sandy beaches, Nanmen Bay, film location), and the Volcano Island Natural Ecological Scenic Area (volcanic rock coastline, island scenery). Local cuisine includes savory Lu Mian with rich broth and ample toppings, crispy and tender Five-Spice Rolls, fresh and fragrant Oyster Omelette, soft and chewy Zhangzhou Mochi, as well as seasonal fruits like star fruit and lychee, showcasing the flavors of southern Fujian.
