Jinhua City, historically known as Wuzhou, is a transport hub in central Zhejiang and the home of Jinhua ham. Popular attractions include Hengdian World Studios (the world's largest film and television shooting base, featuring Ming and Qing palaces, Qin King's Palace, etc., where you might bump into film crews), Shuanglong Cave (described in Ye Shengtao's "Notes on Shuanglong Cave in Jinhua", a karst cave landscape), and Zhuge Bagua Village (an ancient village laid out according to the Bagua, inhabited by descendants of Zhuge Liang). Local delicacies include Jinhua ham (can be steamed or stir-fried, with a unique flavour), Jinhua crispy cakes (crispy outside and soft inside), Lanxi beef noodles (with a rich broth), and Dongyang Wo noodles (with abundant toppings), all showcasing the flavours of central Zhejiang.
