

Huizhou
Huizhou City, abbreviated as Hui, also known as Goose City, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China. It is located in the southeastern part of Guangdong Province and is one of the cities covered by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Huizhou City is a provincial-level historical and cultural city of Guangdong Province. Since ancient times, it has been known as 'a famous prefecture in Lingnan' and 'the gateway to eastern Guangdong'. Historically, many renowned figures, including Su Dongpo, have resided here, leaving behind a large number of poems praising Huizhou, thus endowing Huizhou with a profound cultural heritage. Huizhou City has four national-level scenic spots, namely Luofu Mountain, Huizhou West Lake, Pinghai Sea Turtle Nature Reserve, and Nankun Mountain.
