It serves as a cultural tourism hub in the scenic resource zone, aiming to revive the glory of Shihgang Spring Sails while realizing the concept of "Yilan as a museum." [Architectural Features] The main structure of the museum peaks toward Turtle Island in the east and gradually slopes down to ground level in the southwest, forming a triangular pyramid. The exterior walls are directly embedded into the earth, evoking the imagery of towering boulders and harmonizing with the black reefs in the park's waters. The facade design is inspired by the musical notes of Vivaldi's violin concerto "The Four Seasons." The architect arranged stone and cast aluminum panels along the melody lines, creating a dynamic musical tribute that mirrors the farmland views of Lanyang Plain. "Permanent Exhibition - Ocean Layer: The rivers of the Lanyang River confluence plain flow into the sea, connecting with the Kuroshio Current from the equator. Let us follow the tides, dive deep, and rise with the upwelling, experiencing the tremors of undersea volcanoes amidst the migration of glass eel schools and the swaying of corals." [Permanent exhibition on the plains levelWater and rivers have shaped the lifestyle of the Yilan Plain. The focus of the Plains Level exhibition at Lanyang Museum highlights the arterial rivers that once deeply influenced the socio-economic life of the Lanyang Plain, as well as the connection between rural wisdom and water in daily life.
