How Automated Cashback Works

Instead of forcing cardholders to manually select categories once a quarter, the card evaluates spending across six eligible areas: dining, travel, shopping, transport, entertainment, and wellness. It then automatically applies bonus cashback to the top two categories where you spent the most.

If your spending shifts from flights and skincare one month to hotpot and transport the next, the system adjusts automatically without requiring manual updates.

Earnings and Cashback Calculations

Cardholders receive up to 5% cashback on the top 2 eligible local spend categories, alongside 1% cashback on all other local spending with no minimum spend required for the base rate.

Key conditions for earnings include:

* Achieving $500 in local spend within a month to unlock the 5% bonus.

* Capping bonus cashback at $30 per category, equating to up to $60 monthly from the top two categories.

* Limiting total monthly cashback (base and bonus combined) to $150.

* Toggling to earn 1.3 miles per $1 spent instead, credited as 1 DBS Point = 2 miles that never expire.
