If you are looking to spice up your fitness routine or keep the little ones active outdoors, Singapore's neighbourhood offerings have just expanded in an exciting way. Opened in late August 2026, the brand new facilities in Senja—featuring an outdoor inline skating rink, a challenging warrior course, and an interactive go trail—bring a fresh wave of recreational options to the residential district.

Whether you want to clock in laps for your upcoming IPPT or encourage kids to step away from their screens, these neighbourhood spots offer plenty of fun under the sun.

All three attractions are conveniently situated within easy walking distance from one another, making it a breeze to explore them all in a single outing. Here is your complete guide on how to get there, what to expect, and how to make the most of your visit.

Getting to Senja's New Attractions

Getting to the Senja Inline Skating Rink, Senja Go Trail, and Senja Warrior Course is simple, as they are all within walking distance from each other. The Senja Inline Skating Rink is just a 3-minute walk from the Jelapang LRT station, while the Senja Go Trail and Senja Warrior Course are a 5-minute walk from the same station.

If you are travelling from Bukit Panjang, you can opt to take bus no. 922, which departs from Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, and alight at the Blk 617 bus stop (stop ID: 44651). It is only 4 bus stops away from the interchange, leaving you with a quick 3-minute walk to the skating rink. Because the rink is so new, you might not find it immediately as a Google Maps listing, but its physical address is 7 Senja Link, Singapore 677641, located near Block 621 Senja Road.

Have a Blast Skating at the Senja Inline Skating Rink

Built as part of Sport Singapore's Sport-in-Precinct initiative, the new Senja Inline Skating Rink aims to provide sports facilities that are easily accessible for all residents. Opened in late August 2026, it is Singapore's first-ever neighbourhood inline skating rink. Best of all, it is entirely free to use with no booking required.

Residents living near the Zhenghua-Senja Square Residents' Network will notice that the hard court right outside the RN has been transformed into this outdoor skating facility. As there are no further supporting rental services or facilities announced yet, you will need to bring your own skates, knee and elbow guards, and practice cones.

For beginners who are keen to pick up the sport, the RN has plans to organise inline skating classes held right at the venue. You can indicate your interest for these classes, which cost $100 for 4 sessions, and leave any additional feedback via the official gov.sg form.

Sweat It Out at the Senja Warrior Course & Senja Go Trail

Fitness enthusiasts looking for a solid workout will find plenty to love at the nearby Senja Warrior Course. The course is encompassed by a 400m-long running track featuring 2 lanes, making it ideal for clocking in laps when training for your IPPT. Additionally, visitors can make use of the GymGuru-branded outdoor fitness machines installed on-site.

On the opposite side of the fitness machines lies an obstacle course designed for energetic children. Kids can leap across small stumps, conquer a rope bridge, and test their balance on suspended logs.

Over at the Senja Go Trail, visitors will find a similar 2-lane running track suited for leisurely jogs, though the loop is slightly shorter than the one at the Warrior Course. The Senja Go Trail is catered primarily towards children, functioning as a giant obstacle course complete with two small play structures.

Children can bounce on in-ground trampolines, jump over small rubber mounds, and test their nimble feet and hands by scaling a sloping surface on the play structures. Towards the other end of the trail, a more traditional playground features a small slide for younger ones to enjoy.

For kids wanting to push their limits further, a Ninja Warrior-inspired obstacle course awaits. It begins with a netted structure to climb over or crawl under, followed by a pair of ramps to jump between repeatedly. The course finishes with a triumphant swing across the monkey bars. Visitors can also explore a lovely community garden located right within the area.
