Shanghai International Smart Energy Show
Details
About[Exhibition Overview]
The Shanghai International Smart Energy Exhibition, known in English as ENERGY SHOW and abbreviated as ES, is a professional exhibition under the China International Industry Fair specifically dedicated to the field of energy technology and equipment. It represents a significant opportunity for the new energy and power electrical industries to achieve development breakthroughs and expand into new markets, and it also serves as a core platform for major equipment manufacturers to conduct brand showcases and business negotiations.
The previous edition of the exhibition covered a total exhibition area of 287,900 square metres, attracting 2,665 participating enterprises. Exhibitors came from multiple countries and regions including Hong Kong (China), Japan, Korea, Italy, Germany, Singapore, Dubai, India, Pakistan, Spain, Brazil, and the United States, with the total number of professional visitors reaching 181,346.
This exhibition targets the power, electrical, and new energy technology sectors, with the core objective of building a trading platform for the entire power industry chain (from power generation, transformation, transmission and distribution through to end-use power consumers) that integrates procurement, sales, and technical exchange. Closely following the major trend of smart manufacturing development, the exhibition highlights green technologies, efficient products, and full-scenario solutions in the energy and power industry.
[Value of Participation]
This exhibition provides participating enterprises with multi-dimensional core value, as detailed below:
- Authoritative Industry Showcase Platform: The Shanghai International Smart Energy Exhibition is a core professional exhibition under the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), co-organised by authoritative institutions including the China Power Supply Society and the Shanghai Electric Power Industry Association. The exhibition focuses on digital transformation and green, low-carbon development directions in the energy industry, covering four major sectors: smart grids, smart energy storage, smart energy, and smart services. It is widely recognised as a benchmark for the development of China's smart energy industry and serves as a strategic platform for enterprises to connect with industrial energy demands.
- One-Stop Full Industry Chain Coverage Platform: The exhibition covers all segments of the full industry chain, including smart grids and power automation, energy storage technology and equipment, battery technology and equipment, smart energy solutions, and energy digitalisation platforms. From ultra-high-voltage transmission and distribution to micro-grid applications, from lithium batteries to solid-state batteries, and from integrated photovoltaic-storage-charging power stations to AI-driven virtual power plant dispatching systems, exhibitors can complete comprehensive connections covering technology showcases, brand exposure, and business negotiations in one place.
- Precise Access to Core Buyers and Decision-Makers: Leveraging the vast manufacturing audience resources of the CIIF, the concurrent CIIF brings together over 2,500 exhibitors and 200,000 professional visitors in total. The 2024 edition of the exhibition attracted more than 400 outstanding domestic and international energy and power enterprises, including State Grid, Shanghai Electric, and Schneider Electric. Exhibitors can directly engage with procurement decision-makers from end-use sectors such as manufacturing, power systems, and industrial parks.
- Unique Channel for Connecting Industrial Energy Demands: As a core professional exhibition under the CIIF, this exhibition leverages the CIIF's status as an important window for China's industrial sector to the world, providing domestic enterprises with a unique channel to connect with manufacturing energy demands. Concurrent events during the exhibition include the Smart Energy Internet Development Forum and power quality themed salons, offering participating enterprises a strategic window to gain insights into industry trends and connect with policy resources.
- Frontier of Industry Technology and Trends: The exhibition closely aligns with the national dual-carbon strategic goals and focuses on energy digitalisation and intelligent transformation directions. Key display highlights at the exhibition include smart grid dispatching systems, virtual power plant platforms, long-duration liquid-cooled energy storage, AI-driven energy management, and solid-state batteries, helping energy and power enterprises discover new opportunities in the new development landscape.
- Leveraging Location and Brand Advantages: The exhibition is held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), leveraging Shanghai's strategic position as a core city in the Yangtze River Delta and a major industrial hub in China. Combined with the century-old brand heritage of the CIIF, this provides exhibitors with a high-quality strategic platform for connecting with the national industrial energy market.
