【Exhibition Overview】

    The Xiamen Industrial Fair (abbreviated as XMIE, also known as the Xiamen Industrial Exhibition) is a large-scale industrial exchange event specially authorised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and jointly organised by authoritative industry organisations from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Established in 1997, the fair has been successfully held for 29 sessions as of 2025. It has now developed into a professional industrial exhibition that is internationalised, branded, market-oriented and results-driven, serving as a core platform for exhibitors to expand their markets, promote their brands, gather industry intelligence and conduct technical exchanges.

    This edition of the fair is jointly presented by Xiamen ITG World Trade, Hannover Milano and Donghao Lansheng, three major organisations joining forces to share premium global industry resources. Leveraging Xiamen's strategic location as a key node city of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the fair has established a core platform for industrial technology, economic and trade cooperation that connects both sides of the Taiwan Strait, radiates across the nation, and links to the global market. It shoulders the important mission of serving as a pilot zone for cross-strait industrial integration and a hub for industrial technology transformation.

【Exhibition Scale and Features】

    Relying on its platform value for transactions and industry influence, the fair has created a unique exhibition model that integrates "brand display – technical exchange – on-site customisation" into one. Each year, it attracts a large number of manufacturing enterprises and professional buyers to participate. In 2025, the fair further deepened its cooperation with two international exhibition giants, Hannover Milano Fairs and Donghao Lansheng Exhibition, attracting 839 enterprises from more than ten countries and regions to exhibit, bringing together over a thousand renowned industry brands from both domestic and international markets.

    The fair adopts a "1+N" linkage model, with the main industrial exposition at its core, and concurrently hosts three professional theme exhibitions – namely the New Energy Industry Expo, the Intelligent Construction Exhibition, and the Electronic Information and Digital Economy Expo. This comprehensively covers the entire industrial chain, from basic materials and core components to intelligent equipment and system solutions. Exhibits span multiple core industrial sectors, including CNC machine tools, industrial automation, industrial robots, laser equipment, new energy equipment, intelligent construction, and electronic information.

    Keeping pace with the three major industry development trends of "new quality productive forces, AI empowerment, and green low-carbon development", the fair has built a high ground for industry technology that deeply integrates industry, academia, research and application. In 2025, a total of 21 professional forums and industry matching events were held, including the Strait Industrial Forum, the New Energy Development Conference, and the Intelligent Construction Technology Achievement Sharing Session, with in-depth discussions on cutting-edge industry topics such as "AI Engine Empowerment: Reshaping the New Industrialisation Landscape". During the fair, multiple globally debut products were unveiled, including XGMA's world-first methanol-powered loader, Xiamen XGMA Heavy Industry's world-first 120-tonne unmanned (dual-mode) intelligent transport vehicle, and the stepping walking device originally developed by China Construction First Group.

    In 2025, the fair attracted buyers from 33 countries and regions, as well as 320 professional purchasing delegations from business associations and 2,600 key purchasing enterprises for on-site matching. A series of cross-border matching events were held, including the High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry Chain Supply-Demand Matching Session, the China (Fujian) Green Low-Carbon Product Procurement Matching Session, and the Indonesia Industrial Industry Supply-Demand Matching Session. At the High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry Chain Supply-Demand Matching event alone, 14 projects were signed on-site, with intended contract value reaching RMB 535 million. The total value of contracts signed and intended cooperation agreements across the year's fair exceeded RMB 700 million. Exhibitors can leverage this platform to connect with cross-strait and international procurement resources, seizing the development opportunities presented by the intelligent, green and global transformation of the industrial sector.
