【Exhibition Overview】

    Photonix, short for the Nagoya Photonics Exhibition in Japan, is currently the largest professional exhibition and industry conference in Japan focusing on lasers, optics, and optical communications.

    This exhibition consists of four sub-exhibitions under different themes, focusing respectively on laser processing, optical communications, optics, and optical measurement and analysis technologies. It plays a crucial role in driving technological innovation across multiple industries, including electronics, automotive, telecommunications, energy, and medical sectors.

    The scale of the exhibition has been continuously expanding in recent years, attracting an increasing number of leading enterprises from countries such as the United States, Germany, France, and China, as well as from Japan itself, to gather here for industry exchange.

【Industry Background】

    Japan is one of the earliest countries in the world to propose the concept of "the 21st century as the century of light." As early as 1979, with the support of the Japanese government, the Optoelectronic Industry and Technology Development Association (OITDA) was established.

    Since the establishment of the association, the scale of Japan's optoelectronics industry has maintained an average annual growth rate of 10% to 20%, making Japan a global leader in the optoelectronics industry. Many major Japanese companies, such as NEC and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), have established dedicated optoelectronics basic research laboratories, developing large-scale, low-cost mass production capabilities.

【Visitor Guide】

    Tickets for this exhibition are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors are required to complete online pre-registration and bind their passport information under their real names.

    After ticket purchase, the organiser will conduct identity verification and review. Visitors who do not meet the entry requirements will need to submit additional review materials. Once the review is approved, the organiser will send a confirmation email or generate a QR code. Visitors can exchange their original passport and confirmation letter for a paper entry badge on-site, or simply scan the QR code to enter.
