【Exhibition Overview】

    The Ningbo SME Factory Exhibition, formerly known as the "Foreign Trade Factory Exhibition," was founded in 2007, with participating enterprises primarily being small, medium, and micro manufacturing factories. It was certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in 2022.

    The core purpose of the exhibition is to build a bridge connecting small and medium-sized factories with traders and bulk buyers, adhering to the positioning of "sourcing directly from the production source." As a pioneer among domestic exhibitions of the same theme, it has grown into a highly influential comprehensive sourcing platform for both domestic and foreign trade in East China. Leveraging Ningbo's port trade advantages and the vast commercial population of the Yangtze River Delta, the exhibition primarily targets professionals engaged in traditional foreign trade, domestic and cross-border e-commerce, bulk procurement, as well as enterprises with processing and customisation needs. After years of development, the number and quality of buyers at each edition have steadily improved, consistently helping small and medium-sized production factories expand more diversified order channels. Starting in 2025, the exhibition has adopted a dual-city format connecting Ningbo and Hangzhou, with the Hangzhou edition held in May and the Ningbo edition in November, continuously opening up new customer acquisition channels for exhibiting factories.

【Exhibition Scale】

    In recent years, the scale of the exhibition has repeatedly reached new heights. The current exhibition area exceeds 60,000 square metres, attracting more than 2,500 source factories to exhibit, and is expected to draw over 60,000 professional visitors. The 19th edition held in 2025 brought together a total of 2,067 exhibiting factories, attracted 62,674 professional visitor visits, and achieved an exhibitor return rate of over 70%.

【Exhibit Categories】

    The exhibition covers nine major product categories, with participating enterprises coming from major industrial bases across the country, encompassing both traditional advantageous industrial clusters and emerging specialty industrial belts, specifically including:

    - Traditional advantageous industries: Yangjiang knives and scissors, Yongkang household hardware, Dehua ceramics, Shandong glass products, Lishui bamboo and wood products, Nangong felt products, Chenghai toys, etc.

    - Emerging specialty industries: Pingyang small electronic products, Dongguan silicone products, Yongkang titanium products, Longgang printing and packaging, Bazhou cleaning supplies, etc.

    Exhibiting factories cover 21 provinces and cities nationwide, capable of meeting various procurement needs including domestic and foreign trade sourcing, cross-border e-commerce product selection, and corporate gift customisation.

【Exhibition Highlights】

    Direct sourcing from source factories, eliminating intermediaries: The exhibition adheres to its core principle of "sourcing from the production source." All exhibitors are production factories, allowing buyers to negotiate directly face-to-face with factory representatives, understand product production processes and cost structures, effectively addressing the industry pain points of "difficulty finding factories and high factory audit costs," and helping buyers maximise profits.

    Convergence of national industrial clusters with rich and diversified exhibits: Exhibiting factories cover more than 20 provinces across the country, bringing together multiple nationally renowned industrial clusters, with exhibits spanning nine major categories to meet diverse procurement needs.

    Precise supply-demand matching with outstanding effectiveness: The exhibition has a clear positioning, open only to professional buyers and traders, adhering to the rule of "orders only, no retail." Export traders account for 57.87% of attending visitors, with leading foreign trade enterprises such as Beifa Group and Ningbo Kaiyue participating year-round.

    Leveraging port advantages to facilitate dual circulation of domestic and foreign trade: Relying on Ningbo's port trade advantages and the vast commercial community of the Yangtze River Delta, the exhibition has created a fast track for small and medium-sized factories to connect with global markets. Many enterprises from other regions have successfully opened up export channels by connecting with Ningbo foreign trade companies through the exhibition, achieving transformation from purely domestic sales to a balanced focus on both domestic and foreign trade.
