PFB Korea Busan Fashion & Fabric Exhibition
Details
About【Exhibition Overview】
The Busan Fashion & Fabric Exhibition (PFB) was first held in 1993. It is organised by the Busan Metropolitan Government, and co-organised by institutions including the Busan Textile Industry Federation and the Busan Footwear Industry Promotion Agency.
The exhibition is one of Korea's three major textile and fashion trade fairs, alongside the Seoul International Textile Fair (PIS) and the Daegu International Textile Fair (PID). Compared with the other two fairs, it places greater emphasis on the participation of brand-name apparel, garment fabrics and accessories, and footwear companies, attracting local enterprises from multiple garment and fabric industry clusters across Korea to take part in group exhibitions.
【Exhibition Zones and Supporting Events】
The organiser has launched a number of themed exhibition zones and a series of supporting activities, including:
- Setting up a "Branded Apparel and Accessories Promotion Zone" to host "Best of the Best Brands" promotional, display and order-taking events
- Establishing a cross-border trade cooperation zone targeting supply chain enterprises in garment fabrics and accessories as well as international OEM/ODM garment manufacturers, with international trade and cooperation negotiation sessions
- Featuring a "Digital Solutions for Sales Processes" showcase, complemented by expert forums and industry exchange activities
【Exhibitors and Participants】
This edition of the exhibition has attracted numerous renowned institutions and brands from home and abroad. Key participants include:
- Procurement departments of major department store groups such as Lotte Shopping, Shinsegae and LG Department Store
- Marketing departments of several well-known Korean brand-name apparel companies, including NIKE KOREA, FILA KOREA, DESCENTE KOREA, VANS KOREA, HYUNGJI, and K2 KOREA
- Professional buyers from Europe, the United States and Southeast Asian countries, who attended the fair for sourcing and business negotiations
【Exhibition Development Goals】
The organiser aims to develop this exhibition into an international trade and cooperation platform for garments, fabrics and accessories, apparel and footwear that "integrates exhibition and sourcing, delivers excellent trade results, and enjoys outstanding international influence", while also positioning it as a leading platform for IT solutions in the textile and garment industry.
