About

【Exhibition Overview】

The German Berlin Agriculture and Agri-products Exhibition, also known as the International Green Week Berlin (Grüne Woche), was first founded in 1926. It is one of the world's largest food, agriculture and horticulture exhibitions, holding an extremely high status in the food industry, agriculture and horticulture sectors. It also serves as a premium platform for enterprises from various countries to explore European agriculture-related markets. Today, it has become a signature exhibition that is renowned worldwide for Berlin and Germany as a whole.

【Basic Exhibition Information】

The 2026 edition of the exhibition will be held at Messe Berlin, with the venue address at Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin. This edition has attracted nearly 1,400 enterprises from 61 countries and regions to participate, and is expected to draw approximately 300,000 visitors to the venue.

【Core Exhibition Highlights】

This edition of the exhibition will feature smart agriculture and low-carbon agriculture as its core display focuses, showcasing a variety of innovative products where technology empowers agriculture:

    - The "AI · Land" booth features a full-process crop cultivation robot that can operate based on the actual conditions of individual plants during irrigation, reducing water usage by 20%. Equipped with movable photovoltaic power generation modules, it can be repositioned as needed to reduce shading, solving the problem of traditional static solar panels affecting ground-level light exposure.

    - The fully automated seeding and hoeing robot exhibited by participating enterprise Agravis is equipped with solar panels and can operate continuously for 24 hours without interruption.

    - The climate-friendly tractor launched by agricultural machinery enterprise Fendt is electrically driven, capable of sustained operation for 5 hours, boasting the advantages of low energy consumption and zero emissions.

【Concurrent Events and Experience Activities】

Concurrent with the exhibition, the Global Food and Agriculture Forum was held, where participating representatives engaged in discussions on topics such as sustainable land development, with the goal of promoting the development target of halving food waste by 2030.

The organiser has also set up various forms of public experience activities to disseminate the concept of sustainable development to visitors:

    - At the German Federal Environment-related exhibition area, visitors can put on virtual reality glasses and experience the "World of Bogs" in 360 degrees, learning about the important role of bogs in ecological balance.

    - At the forestry exhibition area, visitors can immerse themselves in the fascinating connection between forests and the water cycle.

    - At the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture exhibition area, visitors can learn on-site how to reduce their carbon footprint during cooking and lower their personal carbon emissions.

Visitors can also participate in various experiential programmes, listen to sharing sessions on topics such as climate neutrality and the circular economy, and exchange ideas with agriculture and technology practitioners from around the world.
