【German Rehabilitation Industry Background】

In Germany, there are a total of 158 preventive and rehabilitation medicine clinics, of which 54% are privately owned, 26% are operated by charitable organisations, and 20% are publicly held.

Over the past few years, the number of non-residential rehabilitation centres has grown sharply, with approximately 500 institutions now able to provide intensive treatment services at the local level, most of which offer physiotherapy and occupational therapy services.

Germany currently has approximately 42,500 licensed physiotherapy practices offering physiotherapy as a standard outpatient service for treatment after the acute phase of illness or injury. At the same time, there are 59,000 occupational therapists providing compliant treatment for people with health impairments, covering motor function impairments, sensory organ problems, as well as neuropsychological, neurophysiological and psychosocial issues.

【Exhibition Value】

This exhibition presents a wide range of the latest industry trends to rehabilitation practitioners, orthotists, rehabilitation technicians, therapists and physicians, while also serving as a quality platform for Chinese rehabilitation medical enterprises to expand into the German and broader EU markets.
