About【Exhibition Overview】
The Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition, abbreviated as VTG, is the largest textile and garment exhibition in Southeast Asia, and is also the only professional textile and garment industry exhibition in Vietnam accredited by UFI.
With a history of many years, this exhibition holds significant influence in the Southeast Asian textile industry. Many high-quality textile enterprises in China have expanded their markets through this platform.
The previous edition of the exhibition covered a total exhibition area of 30,000 square metres, featuring 616 exhibitors from various countries and regions, including China, the United States, Indonesia, India, Canada, Iran, Spain, Taiwan (China), Pakistan, Russia, and others. The number of professional visitors reached 22,000.
Currently, domestic production of raw and auxiliary materials in Vietnam can only meet 30% of the local textile industry's production needs, with the majority of mid-to-high-end fabrics, in particular, relying heavily on imports: the Vietnamese garment export and processing industry requires 6.8 billion metres of various fabrics annually, while local production capacity can only supply 800 million metres, mainly of ordinary fabrics.
As Vietnam's largest trading partner, Chinese textile products are continuously entering the Vietnamese market, leveraging advantages in geography and policy, among others. This exhibition is a good choice for Chinese textile and garment enterprises to enter the Southeast Asian market.
