    SPIE Photonics West (American Western Photonics Exhibition in San Francisco) is a highly renowned professional exhibition in the optoelectronics and laser industry in North America, organised by SPIE (the International Society for Optics and Photonics).

    Since its inception in 1982, the exhibition has been successfully held for dozens of editions and has now developed into the premier annual industry event in the global fields of optics, photonics, lasers and biomedical optics. In recent years, the scale of the exhibition has remained steadily high. In 2025, it attracted 24,000 registered visitors from over 75 countries, with 1,588 exhibitors and over 5,000 technical presentations arranged. In 2026, the registered visitors exceeded 23,000 from 40 countries, with approximately 1,600 exhibitors. The exhibition is open exclusively to qualified trade visitors, with eligible audiences including research institution personnel, industry enterprise experts, qualified engineers, system developers and industry service providers.
