Canada's 'Canada Strong Pass' offers free or discounted admission to national parks, museums and galleries, plus Via Rail train discounts, for both Canadians and international visitors. It expires September 7, 2026, making it a great way to save when visiting Toronto this summer. Free entry: participating Parks Canada sites are free, including Rouge National Urban Park in Toronto's east end. Museum discounts: free admission for ages 17 and under, and 50% off for ages 18-24. Train discounts: kids 17 and under ride Via Rail free with an adult (code CANADAFAM); ages 18-24 get 25% off. Camping discount: 25% off Parks Canada camping and overnight stays (fees still apply for tours, parking, fishing licences, etc.). In Ontario: Bruce Peninsula, Georgian Bay Islands, Point Pelee, Thousand Islands and Pukaskwa national parks are included (note provincial parks like Algonquin are not). National historic sites are free until Sept 8: Bellevue House, Bethune Memorial House, Fort George, Fort Malden and Woodside.
