If your idea of "exercise" is brisk-walking to catch the bus, the upcoming Decathlon Sports Fest 2026 might just convince you to level up. Taking place on 15th and 16th August 2026, this is one of Singapore's largest sports festivals, offering a huge variety of sports for you to explore at your own pace — completely free of charge.

This year, your pets can join the fun too. From trying niche sports like fencing and lacrosse to watching your furry companions tackle a dedicated pet obstacle course, here's everything you need to know.

What Is Decathlon Sports Fest 2026?

Decathlon Sports Fest 2026 is taking over a massive 5,000sqm carpark right outside Decathlon Singapore Lab in Kallang. Entry is completely free, with over 30 different sports to try, plus live music, food and drinks throughout the two-day event.

Come solo, bring the family, or gather your friends — the event is suitable for all ages. And don't worry about Singapore's scorching sun; tents will be set up for shade so you can cool down and catch your breath between activities.

What to Expect at Decathlon Sports Fest

Over 30 Sports to Try

It wouldn't be a Decathlon event without sports, and this one is going all out. Try your hand at over 30 different sports, from trending favourites like pickleball to more intense disciplines like gymnastics. Experienced coaches will be stationed on-site, so even complete beginners can dive in with confidence.

There are also more niche offerings to discover — fencing, lacrosse, tchoukball and teqball — giving you a rare chance to develop a newfound appreciation for these sports. There's even a custom-built river pool where visitors can go kayaking without needing to head to the nearby Kallang River.

This year's edition also introduces a brand-new Pet Obstacle Sports area managed by Noble Canine Oasis, so your furkids can join the action. As a safety note, a dedicated medic point with paramedics and an ambulance will be stationed at the Welcome Zone.

That's not all — there'll also be combat sports like karate and silat, plus an indoor snowboarding setup to help you prep for your next winter holiday without leaving the country.

Sure-Win Prizes & Lucky Draw

Need a little extra motivation? Grab a Decathlon Sports Passport at the entrance and collect stamps as you try each sport. Earn one stamp per sport; collect five stamps and you'll score a free Marigold drink. Hit ten stamps and redeem 250 Decathlon membership points — equivalent to a S$3 gift card for your next purchase.

All-round athletes who complete the entire passport can submit their finished booklet for a chance to win prizes from Decathlon and festival partners including Guzman y Gomez, JBL Singapore and Dr Stretch.

Food, Drinks & Live Entertainment

Come hungry — there'll be plenty of delicious bites and icy drinks available for purchase. Decathlon is bringing in over 10 food vendors offering family-friendly options, healthier picks, vegetarian alternatives and halal-certified meals. Once you've refuelled, stick around for live music and entertainment at the main stage for all-round good vibes.

Pet-Friendly Event

Pawrents, you're not left out — the entire event is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furbabies along for a day of fun.

Sustainability Initiatives

Take part in the Buy Back programme by trading in your used Decathlon weights — dumbbells, kettlebells and more — and receive store credits towards your next sporty purchase.

You can also shop pre-loved Second Life gear at wallet-friendly prices, doing good for both the planet and your budget.

Cyclists get a sweet deal too: ride down on your Decathlon bike and enjoy 20% off cycling services, from a basic tune-up to a full reconditioning.

True to Decathlon's mission of giving every product a second life, all sports equipment used during the event will be repurposed afterwards.

Do I Need to Register?

No registration required — simply show up and start trying new sports.

What Should I Bring?

Dress in comfortable sports attire and shoes, or swimwear if you're planning to participate in water sports.

There's no need to lug your own gear — everything you need will be provided. But if you've got a favourite racket or pair of goggles, feel free to bring them along.
