Bangkok's Rattanakosin Canal Walking Streets Return: 'River of Life' Festival Runs July 24–31 with Free Entry

A celebration not to be missed! The "River of Life Under His Majesty's Grace — Preserving the Rattanakosin Way" (สายน้ำแห่งชีวิต ใต้ร่มพระบารมี สืบสานวิถีรัตนโกสินทร์) royal initiative festival takes place from 24th to 31st July 2026 at Mahakan Fort Park (สวนสาธารณะป้อมมหากาฬ) and along the canals encircling Bangkok's historic Rattanakosin Island.

Stroll, shop and soak up the atmosphere along the canal-side walking streets of old Bangkok.
